Information we collect
Debt Pilot LLC collects information you provide when you create an account, use software, contact support, or request an attorney consultation. This may include personal identification, financial information necessary to prepare documents, payment information, support communications, and information included in an attorney consultation request.
Attorney consultation requests
When you submit an attorney consultation request, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, city and state, estimated debt amount, bankruptcy chapter preference, availability, and any additional details you choose to share.
With your consent, we may share this information with one or more independent bankruptcy attorneys or law firms that participate in our attorney marketing program and may serve your area. Those attorneys or law firms may contact you about a potential consultation.
Participating attorneys compensate Bankruptcy Pilot for marketing and lead-generation services. This compensation does not affect the information we provide to you, create an attorney-client relationship, or guarantee that an attorney will agree to represent you. We do not sell your personal information to unrelated third-party advertisers. Attorneys and law firms that receive your information handle it under their own privacy policies and professional obligations.
How we use and protect information
We use information to provide and improve services, process transactions, generate court-formatted documents, process and respond to attorney consultation requests, communicate about support, and meet legal, compliance, and record-keeping obligations. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online transmission or storage is completely secure.
