Description of services
Petition Pilot is document-preparation software that helps individuals prepare bankruptcy forms. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, representation, or attorney services.
Attorney marketing and consultation requests
Bankruptcy Pilot provides educational resources, document-preparation tools, and marketing services for independent bankruptcy attorneys and law firms. Participating attorneys may pay Bankruptcy Pilot for marketing and lead-generation services.
If you request to speak with an attorney, you authorize Bankruptcy Pilot to share the information in your request with participating attorneys or law firms that may serve your area. Bankruptcy Pilot does not employ those attorneys, control their legal services, recommend a particular attorney, or guarantee that an attorney will contact you, offer a consultation, or agree to represent you.
Any legal services are provided directly by the attorney or law firm you choose. An attorney-client relationship begins only when you and that attorney or law firm separately agree in writing or otherwise establish such a relationship under applicable law.
Payment and fees
Chapter 7 preparation is $150 and Chapter 13 preparation is $170. Payment is required before document-generation features are accessed. Fees are non-refundable once document preparation has begun. Attorney fees are set by the attorney or law firm, not Bankruptcy Pilot.
Electronic filing
Petition Pilot does not support electronic filing. You must print, sign, and file documents with your local bankruptcy court clerk’s office.
